Bespoke Jewellery Design Agreement
This agreement governs bespoke jewellery design services provided by Carli.1. Consultation
A consultation fee of $350 is required to book a bespoke jewellery consultation. This fee covers professional design consultation and initial design development.Consultation fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.2. Design Process
Following consultation, Carli may develop sketches, CAD models, renders, or other design materials.These materials are provided solely for the purpose of reviewing and commissioning the jewellery piece.3. Intellectual Property
All jewellery designs, CAD files, renders, sketches, models, and design concepts created by Carli remain the intellectual property of Carli.Clients do not receive ownership of CAD files or design rights unless explicitly agreed in writing.Design materials may not be shared with other jewellers or used to reproduce the piece elsewhere.4. Commissioning the Piece
Manufacturing of bespoke jewellery will begin once the client approves the final design and a production deposit has been received.Deposits are typically [50%] of the quoted price unless otherwise stated.Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced.5. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided for bespoke jewellery are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.Due to fluctuations in precious metal and gemstone markets, prices may change if a commission is confirmed after the quote validity period.If significant changes occur in material costs before production begins, an updated quote may be provided for approval prior to manufacturing.6. Design Revisions
The bespoke design process includes up to two rounds of design revisions following the presentation of the initial concept.Additional revisions or significant design changes may incur additional design fees. These fees will be communicated and approved before further work continues.7. Manufacturing
Manufacturing is completed by trusted external partners based on technical specifications provided by Carli.Only necessary design specifications and order numbers will be shared with these partners.8. Design Changes During Production
Once manufacturing begins, design changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs.9. Design Ownership
All jewellery designs, CAD files, renderings, sketches, digital models, and design concepts created by Carli remain the intellectual property of Carli.The consultation fee or purchase of a jewellery piece does not transfer ownership of the design, CAD files, or associated intellectual property rights.Clients may not reproduce, manufacture, distribute, or commission reproduction of the design through another jeweller without written permission from Carli.10. Design Use Restrictions
Design materials provided during the bespoke process, including sketches, CAD renders, digital models and concept images, are shared with the client solely for the purpose of reviewing and commissioning the jewellery piece through Carli.Clients may not reproduce, replicate, distribute or commission the manufacture of the design through another jeweller or manufacturer.Any unauthorised use, reproduction or commercial use of the design constitutes a breach of intellectual property rights.11. CAD files
CAD files and technical manufacturing files are not provided to clients unless explicitly agreed in writing.These files remain proprietary production materials used for the creation of the jewellery piece.12. Project Timelines
Production timelines are estimates and may vary depending on complexity, stone sourcing, and manufacturing processes.13. Portfolio Use
Carli reserves the right to photograph or render completed jewellery for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless confidentiality is requested in writing.14. Acceptance
By booking a consultation or commissioning bespoke jewellery, the client agrees to the terms of this agreement.
